Kelley Boucher joined Apellis in 2025, bringing more than 20 years of HR experience within the biotechnology and medical device industries. Most recently, Kelley was chief human resources officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where she oversaw the global HR organization. During her six-year tenure, Kelley helped build Alnylam into a highly respected, top-tier biotech company that’s continually recognized for their scientific innovation, patient-focus and workplace excellence worldwide. Prior to Alnylam, Kelley served as the Head of Global Human Resources at Abiomed for three years as the company experienced exponential growth and industry-leading commercial execution. Kelley also spent 10 years at Shire where she held roles across HR and M&A. Prior to Shire, Kelley held positions at Clockwork Consulting, Syntonix Pharmaceuticals, and Digitas. Kelley holds a bachelor’s degree in government relations from Cornell University and conducted the Strategic Leadership Development executive program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
